Rules/Regulations – House Rules

  • Absolutely no illegal drugs, alcohol, or substances allowed in or on the club property.
  • No gambling on the property.
  • No firearms, ammunition or weapons of any kind are to be brought into the club.
  • Fighting, either physically or verbally, is prohibited.
  • Excessive foul or abusive language is prohibited.
  • The groups and members that use the Renaissance Club for meetings are responsible for the actions of their members and guests.
  • The groups that use the Renaissance Club are responsible for returning chairs and tables to their correct or original position for the next meeting.
  • All cups and trash must be disposed of. Take all meeting garbage with you and dispose of properly in the outside containers – dumpster in the backyard by lawn bowling – bocce court.
  • All food needs to be cleaned up and members are responsible for all garbage – no food or garbage should be left behind.
  • Please leave the club cleaner than you found it.
  • Members and guests using the club side need to sign in and out when using the club side.
  • The Renaissance Club is a no smoking facility. Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking area in the front right of the club and butts to be disposed properly in the provided containers.
  • Dogs not permitted unless distinguished as a service requirement.
  • Members/meetings respect heat and AC during seasons – lights and fans off – all doors locked.
  • Donations of items to the club need board approval.
  • Children are not permitted unattended on club side and are the responsibility of the parent.
  • The Renaissance Club will not interfere or intervene in any actions of the group members or guests unless it is a violation of these policies. The club respects the autonomy of the groups, their rules and traditions.
  • Members and guests of club must park across the street in the public parking lot – not next to the club in the restaurant parking.
  • Destruction of or intentional damage of club property or the property of any other person is prohibited.
  • Any problems, concerns and or issues with any rule or behavior in the club should be presented to the Grievance Committee which in turn will be presented to the Board for review.
  • The officers and board members of the club expect the groups and members using the club to support and enforce these policies. Any person who fails to abide by these policies may be asked to leave. Any group that fails to support and enforce these policies may be asked to find another location. Any action taken for the violation of these policies is at the sole discretion of the Board on a case-by-case basis.
